Growing up in a family of classical musicians in Paris, Victor was always surrounded by art. He started playing violin at the age of six, and in parallel he started drawing on his own. At first it was copying comic books, but the focus quickly shifted towards more realistic drawing. His training in violin allowed him to know how to practice something intensely and a certain sense for patient and repeated effort. So he began to draw and paint more seriously at the age of fifteen, when he met his first teacher Edgar Saillen. Mr.Saillen guided him through the fundamentals of drawing and painting, while cultivating a love for the old masters. After graduating from high school, Victor went on to study full time at the Grand Central Atelier, where he is currently studying.
